About New Image Skin Care and Spa

New Image Skin Care and Spa was started by Kate. She is a Holistic Health Practitioner who graduated from Mueller College of Holistic Studies. She is nationally certified and is one of the few practitioners who has double H.H.P. certificates in San Diego. She also graduated from Palomar Institute of Cosmetology, and became a licensed esthetician. After many years working in the resort industry, Kate decided she could better serve people by opening her own business. In 2004, she created her cozy studio in an office building in Kearny Mesa. Due to high demands, Kate is expanding her business to maintain personal and quality services to her clients. Her brand new spa will have three spacious treatment rooms personalized for body scrub, massage, waxing, facial and other services to better accommodate each individual's needs.

Amy controls the administrative and financial department of the New Image. She is a graduate from UCSD with a bachelor degree in economics and recently completed her master's program in business at Ashford University.

Kim is the receptionist and she handles the business secretarial works. She is a U.C.S.D graduate with bachelor degrees in history and ethnic studies. She is continuing her education in environmental history as a PH.D candidate at U.C.S.D at this time.

Odell is one of our top certified massage therapists whom graduated from Concorde Career College. Odell has over four years of experience where he previoucsly worked at M.D. Spa and a Chiropraqctor's office, so he is familar in the medical environment that specializes in injury treatments. His specialty include Deep tissue massage that uses deep pressure to reduce tension, muscle soreness and other chronic pain.

Glenda is another certified massage therapist at our day spa. She has over 10 years of experience in the medical field as a registered nurse. She also graduated from Marinello Schools of Beauty and has over 600 hours of training with national certification. She is experienced in Swedish, Deep tissue and Hot stone massage.

Savannah is one of our licensed Estheticians who has worked in the beauty industry for over 20 years since she first graduated from Tokyo Academy of Hairdressing and Beauty in Japan. After graduating from Marinello Schools of Beauty in San Diego, she has worked at many recognizable day spas and specializes in skin care health, facials, chemical peels and waxing.
