About New Image Skin Care and Spa

New Image Skin Care and Spa was started by Katsue "Kate" Abe.  She is a Holistic Health Practitioner who graduated from Mueller College of Holistic Studies. She is nationally certified and  is one of the few practitioners who has double H.H.P. certificates in San Diego.  She also graduated from Palomar Institute of Cosmetology, and became a licensed esthetician.  After many years working in the resort industry, Kate decided she could better serve people by opening her own business.  In 2004, she created her cozy studio in an office building in Kearny Mesa.  Her studio hours and location are convenient for both residents and visitors alike.  She maintains a steady base of local clients and welcomes many visitors from other cities, states and countries with quality services.  Kate enjoys working with the wide variety of clients she attracts.  Although her business grows every year, she continues to maintain caring and personal touch with each individual she works with.

Another member of the New Image Skin Care team is Emiko "Amy" Abe. She controls the administrative and financial departments. With a degree in Economics from the University of California San Diego, she is well qualified to handle all of the management aspects for New Image Skin Care. While she is back at school continuing her education to earn a masters degrees, she still makes time to enjoy sports activities with friends and family.

Gary Christianson is a certified massage therapist who was trained by Bill Mueller at the Mueller College of Holistic Studies. He specializes in Swedish and Deep tissue massage, and maintains busy schedules with clients who admire his techniques and warm personality.
